Born and raised in Burbank, California, Travis’s love for acting was first formed when he employed his entire family to create a multi-episode late night talk show for his teddy bear, The Barry Show, that earned him great acclaim amongst his elementary school friends. When he wasn’t busy giving Jay Leno a run for his money, Travis spent his time watching old movies with his mom where he further nurtured a fascination for performance and a deep appreciation for the history of the art form.
In his time studying at Carnegie Mellon University, Travis’s love for acting only grew by playing roles which stretched him in many directions. Such as the driven and misunderstood “Krogstad” in A Doll’s House, the sensitive but well-intended “Roland” in Nick Payne’s, Constellations, and the eccentric and unapologetic “Barfeé” in Spelling Bee. He feels so grateful to have spent his time training surrounded by peers and professors that share the same passion to create community and improve each day.
Travis’s life outside of acting is one of many activities, he has always been one to consume as much information as he can about anything that sparks his interest. From surfing and skateboarding to playing piano and reading, Travis’s inquisitive nature has always kept him occupied.
